My final day on the Mission Springs schedule has elapsed. In the next 36 hours I must pack my cabin into my truck, return keys, gas cards and other Mission Springs issued items for a final paycheck, and last but not least, say good bye to people. The hardest part for me is the packing part- I loath packing with at passion- shoving clothing into bags and and thingyabobs in boxes, the whole time thinking, “Why do I have so much clothing and random junk?! Where did it all come from?! I really should throw this a way!”
But I digress…
I must say, Mission Springs, I has been a good run. Two years full time, four summers over six years- so many stories and experiences for the books. The experiences that I have had here has greatly shaped who I am and who I am becoming. These last two years have been especial instrumental to me- during this time I have come to better understand how I interact with others, how I need time alone and how to better balance relationships. These are all things that could be learned else where, but I learned that here.
So with this, I say good bye. Farewell until next time.
